Remote working in a dynamic and fast-growing B2B SaaS company dedicated to empowering businesses with data-driven insights and operational excellence. Competitive package includes equity share options
The role
As a Salesforce Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Salesforce instance to drive operational efficiency and data accuracy. You will work closely with our Revenue Operations, Sales, Marketing and Finance teams to streamline processes, implement best practices, and ensure Salesforce serves the team’s needs effectively, not the other way around. This role will involve learning about new tools in this ecosystem and have a large marketing operations remit.
Key Responsibilities
- Salesforce Administration
- Manage and maintain Salesforce, ensuring data accuracy and system uptime.
- Expertly design, build, and optimize Salesforce Flows and automations to support business processes.
- Implement and manage user roles, profiles, sharing rules, and security settings.
- Conduct regular data audits and deduplication efforts to ensure clean and actionable data.
- Sales Operations Support
- Support sales forecasting, pipeline management, and lead management within Salesforce.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to implement reporting and dashboards that track key metrics (e.g., pipeline health, conversion rates, and forecast accuracy).
- Automate and improve the lead-to-opportunity process, ensuring seamless handoffs between Marketing and Sales.
- Marketing Operations Integration
- Collaborate with Marketing to align Salesforce with marketing automation tools (HubSpot).
- Support lead scoring and nurturing workflows to optimize lead conversion rates.
- Manage campaign tracking and attribution within Salesforce.
- Process Improvement
- Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders to continuously improve Salesforce functionality.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase user adoption and operational efficiency.
- Train and support end-users to ensure they understand system capabilities and best practices.
- Reporting & Analytics
- Develop and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards for various teams.
- Provide actionable insights to improve sales and marketing performance.
- Monitor and report on system usage and adoption trends.
We believe in setting clear objectives. Here are our expectations for your first 6 months and beyond with us:
- After 3 months, you will have completed a full audit of our Salesforce instance, proposed initial improvements, and established strong relationships with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to understand their specific Salesforce needs. You will have delivered your first set of automated workflows and data cleanup initiatives to improve pipeline accuracy and data quality.
- After 6 months, you will fully own the lead-to-opportunity process and have optimized handoffs between Marketing and Sales. You will have delivered a suite of custom dashboards to support real-time decision-making for sales forecasting and pipeline health, while also implementing or enhancing at least one major Salesforce integration, such as HubSpot, LinkedIn, or Zoominfo. Increased user adoption of Salesforce will be evident through regular training sessions and structured feedback loops.
- After 12 months, you will be the go-to expert for all things Salesforce, having established a stable, well-documented Salesforce ecosystem. You will have delivered a comprehensive forecasting model that enables accurate pipeline visibility and revenue prediction, introduced or enhanced campaign attribution models to measure marketing effectiveness, and identified and implemented at least two major process improvements to enhance efficiency and data accuracy across the business. By this point, you will be actively contributing to the long-term Salesforce strategy, identifying opportunities to scale and automate further.
